Coca-Cola, the most loved beverage in Nepal is collaborating with AIESEC Nepal to host Youth Speak Forums (YSF) this year. Coca-Cola partnered with AIESEC Nepal in 2017 and since then it has collaborated on many projects like Action for SDGs in 2017, Youth Speak Forum in 2017, 2019, and 2021, and so on.

The focus of this year’s YSF is on the leadership development of the youth and having their voices heard. Coca-Cola Nepal has been partnering with AIESEC for the past 5 years with the purpose of youth empowerment and a sustainable future.

Youth Speak Forum (YSF) is an initiative focusing on youth empowerment as it brings together young leaders from a diverse cross-sector and multigenerational space for inspiring conversations around pressing global issues making AIESEC a credible youth voice. YSF is deemed to be conducted in three phases: Empower, Engage and Commit. It inspires and empowers young people to understand how they can contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals set by the UN through powerful talks, participate in solution developing design thinking space, and finally convert the ideas into reality.

We are the first generation to feel the effect of the uncontrolled waste management system and the last generation who can do something about it. The theme of the Youth Speak forum for this year is “Sustainable Waste Management for a clean tomorrow”. The three phases of YSF will be focused on Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 6 and 12. A prominent role in waste management is played by sustainability in daily production and consumption. The theme highlights the importance of the actions we do today to contribute toward a sustainable tomorrow and the contribution of youth around the world, who are leading the charge on waste management analysis, mitigation, and response, to build a more sustainable future for all.

Coca-Cola with its vision of “To refresh the world and make a difference” and AIESEC with its vision of “Peace and fulfillment of humankind’s potential” together are initiating the Youth Speak Forums which have brought them one step closer to their respective missions.
