Hotel Sabrina in final preparations for IPO issuance

Kathmandu, Hotel Sabrina Limited is preparing to issue an IPO. Founder and Chairman Nirajan Thapa informed that the company’s sixth general meeting held on Monday approved the proposal to issue an IPO.
The hotel, which has an authorized capital of Rs 900 million and an issued capital of Rs 530 million, has a paid-up capital of Rs 356.5 million. The company is going to issue shares worth Rs 150 million of a minimum of 1.5 million units to the general public.
For this, the company has appointed NMB Capital as the sales manager for the institutional advisory services and primary share issuance at the end of Ashad.
According to the company’s Chairman Nirajan Thapa, preparations are underway to start the IPO issuance process with the regulatory body Securities and Exchange Board of Nepal in the next few days.
Hotel Sabrina, located at Ganesh Chowk, Budhanilkantha 6, Kathmandu, has stated that the IPO is necessary to expand its capacity and upgrade it to a five-star level.
Chairman Thapa says that the goal is to repay some of the loans owed to the company. This hotel, which has been operating in 60 rooms, including apartments, is now adding rooms.
Within three years of its operation, Hotel Sabrina was awarded the title of Best Hotel in Nepal in 2021 by the Hotel Critics and Bloggers Association and Hotel.com.
The hotel is currently managed by the “Regenta Place” brand of Royal Orchid Hotels.
